Hannah Ford joined the Little Rock Department of Athletics in November of 2022 as the ESPN+ Producer and Coordinator after serving as News Producer and Video Editor for Sinclair Broadcast Group with KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock. Ford handles the production and management of all ESPN+ broadcast for Little Rock Men's and Women's Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, and Baseball as well as the production and editing of the Darrell Walker Coach's Show, the Little Rock Wrestling broadcasts, and video content for Little Rock athletics. She also serves as a Communications Assistant for men and women’s basketball. Ford is the current Sports Information Director for women’s basketball, handling all coordination for media outreach, website updates, social media efforts, and whatever else the team may need on the communication side.
In the production role, Ford has increased viewership for all Little Rock broadcasts on ESPN+ with recognition from the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner as one of the best basketball broadcast in the conference. She assisted with updating the broadcasting equipment to better facilitate productions. Through her social media video content, she has increased the impressions for various Little Rock social media accounts. She also served a Co-Chair of the Department of Athletics SpectacUALR, the largest fundraiser event for the department.
Prior to Little Rock, Ford produced the two most watched news broadcasts in the state of Arkansas on KATV Channel 7. She wrote scripts, investigated and validated potential stories, created graphics, assisted other producers, and other duties as assigned. Before being promoted to News Producer, Ford served as Video Editor at KATV where she collaborated with staff on video elements while investigating videos across multiple platforms.
Ford also served as a Production Assistant with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals where she assisted in the broadcasting and streaming of all home games as well as operated the production equipment.
Ford graduated from the University of Arkansas in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism degree.
